Dining Chair With Tan Leather Seat

I designed this chair way back in 2000 as an extra spec piece. It is one from a set of four, designed to sit at a round dining table. The mortise and tenons at front and back legs are wedged through mortise and tenons, making it an extremely strong joint. The rails, which make up the tenons at ends, are fumed Scottish Oak, and the rest of the chair is also Scottish Oak. The simple laminated back rail catches your back in just the right position, making it a very comfortable chair. The seat is upholstered in tan leather.
