This is the third piece that Alan and Moira have commissioned me to make. This one was to house Alan’s ever expanding collection of vinyls. The unit is made from Scottish Oak and incorporates the classic John P Johnston coopered curved side panels. When first asked to make this, I dimly asked what size is an LP; 12 inches was the answer! He also mentioned when I delivered it that it would likely be his last commission, to which I pointed out, what happens when it’s full? Last words as I left: ‘I’ll be in touch’
